Final Reflection

  1. Having a blog was new to me during this program as well. I also enjoyed having the opportunity to share my thoughts and ideas on a new platform. For our lesson, my group also utilized Nearpod for part of the lesson as an introduction/engage for students. We loved how easy it was to create engaging lessons and add features like collaboration boards and games. I agree that using new technology can sometimes be scary and intimidating but including it in lessons is a fantastic way to add variety and increase student engagement.

  2. I also experimented using two different book creating tools this semester and they were Story Jumper and Book Creator. Both websites had a learning curve, but once I got more familiar with the websites, they got easier to use. With two under my belt, I am curious to see how Imagine Forest compares!

  5. Nearpod is definitely a program that takes time to learn. I haven't used Imagine Forest before but it looks like a useful tool. Thanks for sharing!
